Robo Logic 2 HD

Robo Logic 2 HD

Robo Logic 2 HD, the successor of the popular iPhone puzzle game "Robo Logic", redesigned for the iPad. You have to "program" a robot's movements by dragging commands to the memory of the bot. Your goal is to activate all the marked boxes.

Very soon you will realize though that using only the main memory is not enough and you will have to start creating and calling re-usable functions to achieve the goal.

RoboLogic is very easy to learn, but hard to master.

Differences to the iPhone version:

* New world unlock concept. Earn stars to unlock other worlds. No need to solve every single level.

* Undo / redo feature.

* More gradual learning curve but still very challenging.

* Earn coins to upgrade your memory or buy new commands.

* Of course everything is bigger, nicer and easier to use. :)

What's New in Version 1.2

This update took a little longer than expected but worth to install!

-Two new worlds with ten new levels.

-When running your program you will now see which command is executed at the moment.

-For every level your last solution will be saved and you can access it later. Please note this will (of course) not work for solutions created before this update.

-Removed the sound on/off button and replaced by a puzzle button. You can access your solution from there. To turn off/on robot voice or sound effects please see the settings.

Redone most of the command buttons. Especially the turn buttons are now easier to understand with different colors. Green is clockwise, red is counter clockwise.

-You can now skip the tutorial.

-Updated graphics to fit the iPad retina requirements.

-iOS 7 compatibility.

-Bugfixes, thank you all for sending them in.

Apple won't let me program on the iPad so this fun game is the closest I can come to actually programming. Very challenging. I love the way you can earn additional programming space or commands.

Turning Controls Are Illogical

It is difficult to determine which way the robot will turn with the "right" and "left" turn controls. Apparently, they are not from the robot's point of view but some outside observer. This is a most illogical logic game. Who in their right mind would program a robot's "right" and "left" as relative to some outside observer and not the robot itself?!? A subroutine employing the "left" turn command turns the robot right one time it's called and left another because the robot has changed the way it's facing. Lunacy.

I tried the iPhone (free) demo and the controls seemed to be correct there so I risked the money to buy the HD iPad game, figuring ti would be better. Instead, it's all but unplayable. Very frustrating. I've given up playing it until sanity returns and the "right" and left" controls are from the robot's POV.
